JENGLE
Think I may go and watch the Cornwall Senior Cup Final this year. I just hope it's closer than the game last year.
Bruegel the Elder
No Jengle, not for you, Helston is much further away than the Treyew road ground for you, and indeed, most of us!
Dave Deacon
Let's be honest - no matter where it is, someone is going to be upset.
TheolderIgetthebetterIwas
Best of luck to Helston on getting the game. JENGLE
Indeed you are correct Dave. Couldn't get any closer for the Final like last year. A journey to Truro for me is no more than 15 minutes. I think this year it'll be much more competitive. And I'll be there to see it!
midlandlilywhite
I am pleased that Helston have been awarded the final. Great set up there, very welcoming and excellent facilities.
Guest
It was mentioned on Twitter that some Saltash supporters wouldn't make the trip because of the venue!
theboyweeso
Hi, I'm new to the forum, been following Saltash this season. I am going to Helston, the club has put on a supporters coach. I appreciate the venue isn't ideal location wise but it will be a great day out on easter monday. any ideas who is having problems attending? 21 minutes ago, Willow Tree said: It was mentioned on Twitter that some Saltash supporters wouldn't make the trip because of the venue! Guest
It didn't say who and I know the venue isn't ideal for everyone, it certainly wasn't ideal when Bodmin played Helston there in 2013. That's the joy of it being on Easter Monday, it's a day out! I think it was a comment from Dane Bunney so maybe he knows.
theboyweeso
Yea I remember that now. I'm assuming it can't be moved now as it's all been pre-arranged with Helston without knowing the finalists. I think Saltash would have cause to feel slightly aggrieved by the location though
Guest
I think Bodmin and Saltash should have let Newquay and Falmouth win and there would have been no complaints! There would be the same problems if Man City reach this season's FA Cup final, playing in London against a London team.
Doug
Perhaps they're anticipating the disappointment of going to a decent ground than having to go back to their own 1970s Eastern Bloc monstrosity.

Do you mean Bodmin, Saltash or Man City ?
