Guest
Looking at the Launceston Cup website (www.launceston-cup.co.uk) it says that Gunnislake have an alternative ground at Albaston. Where is this and who else (if anyone) plays there? Also do LC Phoenix and Southgate Seniors share the same pitch?

Soccer Follower
Do the new team St.Ann's Chapel also play on this ground?
Richard Rundle
St Anns Chapel play at a pitch in their own village.
Guest
I did wonder if it was St Anns Chapel's pitch as they have used it in the past, and the same with Stoke Climsland too but the Albaston bit threw me.
wally6
Just before Christmas there were meetings held regarding the old Calstock cricket ground which is at the top of the hill by Albaston. The cricket team folded but they didn't want the facilities to go to waste. They approached Calstock fc but we did not want to move the team out of the village as we believe less people from the village would not be inclined to come and watch. Also as we are sponsored by the Tamar inn, and as we all know some players have a tendency to not go back to the pub as it is, let alone being out of the village already and closer to home. Gunnislake may have taken up the option to use the cricket ground now St Anns are back.
