Went to Forest Green yesterday, and paid £7:00 to get in.Good value for that standard of football.

Treyew Road on Tuesday,Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Your guess is as good as mine.

It wont be £7:00,for sure, and I wont be there.

That must have been a really special offer as their website shows tickets for league matches as; £16 standing and £18 or £20 for seating - reduced by £1 if bought in advance. Apologies if I've got it wrong.

Bit harsh! Surely it's a rare opportunity to get to see higher opposition playing in the county?

Why are you so adverse to taking a look?

Have no interest in going to Truro city until they sort themselves out as a community club again. They've had owners that are only there for the money and I'm not for lining their pockets.

It maybe the highest standard of local football that the county has seen, but it's still pretty poor in the grand scheme of things.

£8 :00 entrance for North Stand, away supporters or £7:00 concession.

F.A Trophy  special.

So you have it wrong.

Brilliant scoreline by Truro City considering the professionalism of the National League, a tough ask for more of the same on Tuesday, I would settle for a rearguard battle in this one and progress via a penalty shootout.

I am pleased the 'Abacus' has been consigned to the scrapheap, WELL DONE LADS.

A few of non leagues giants have bitten the dust, could we dare think of a return to Wembley.

Internet access bad yesterday so only got the result at lunch time today and it crashed again before I could say WELL DONE CITY.

A chance to see the highest rated football club ever to play a competitive game in Cornwall since Falmouth Town played Oxford United in the FA Cup (Mike Odgers will correct me if I'm wrong) If your coming up in your boat Older I will meet you down Malpas at 6pm, we could pop in The Heron for a pint before the game. Got to be worth a punt.

Taken from Truro website....

THE WHITE Tigers will play host to National League high-flyers, Forest Green Rovers, here at Treyew Road on Tuesday evening in a Buildbase FA Trophy first round replay.

Rocky Neal's equaliser saw us play out a 1-1 draw at a decidedly soggy New Lawn on Saturday in what was a spirited and determined display by Lee Hodges' side.

Kick-off will be 7.45pm and admission prices have been set as follows:

ADULTS £13

CONCESSIONS (over-65s) £10

UNDER-18s £5

UNDER-12s Free

Same as a league game by the look of things.

No 'special offer' at this end then!

Agree with Willow, really think City have missed a trick here!! They could have matched the prices FGR were charging on Saturday or at the very least made it a tenner and kids for a quid or u18s free. It's meant to be a mildish dry evening, you could have potentially had a 700/800+ attendance with a few hundred of those kids that will be your supporters for decades to come and might be bringing their kids in 20 years (if there's still a Truro City!?!) Those neutrals that may well have been tempted will probably stay home in the warm and watch Norwich v Villa instead!!? Shame, as you could well be watching a team that will be in the football league next season with their very ambitious chairman and manager. I'll go for a 1-3 defeat and a crowd of 500 max. Hope I'm wrong though!!!  ⚽️??

But only with giving the game a heavy promotion. As soon as the result was known Saturday, the club should have exhausted all media channels, even including this forum which they don't appreciate too much, to entice people to take a look!

There have a few been price reductions in the past, but it didn't seem to increase attendances in the following matches. Truro's running costs are a lot higher than some clubs due to the distances they have to travel and the wages they have to pay to attract players to this area. The recent increase of over 20% in fuel prices over the last couple of months is not going to help their travel costs.

We will see about that in a couple of weeks when the building work is meant to start.

It seems our owner, has been spotted near the seaside, just having a early Xmas break.Turkey and Tinsel, maybe.?

Somersetspur you seem to be 100% certain that the new stadium won't be built. So have you got bets on that with anyone? Your so confident that surely it would be easy money!

Wait until 16th Dec 2016.I will have a much clearer view of TCFC future, then.

Where have I said the Stadium wont be built.?

All I know ,is that we will not be playing in it,next season, after the Chairman told us at the beginning of the season, after securing another year at Treyew Rd.

This game is a 'bonus' fixture so a cheaper than normal price would have enticed me and the missus to have a gander but not at £13 each. Dave has a point that as soon as the final whistle went on Saturday, the club would have exhausted every possible channel to advertise the game. Even if the board outside the ground read bout the FGR replay would have been something. Two Monday rush hours were missed but as least the Weston Super Mare game on Boxing Day should be well attended!

Commiserations to Truro city, who put a good show in the second half against fgr last Saturday

As a st juster in exile, now living in Gloucestershire, I am sorry to hear that the leading Cornish club charges so much for fans in one if the poorest nations in Europe to get in. My adult season ticket for fgr cost £230 for 23 league matches plus friendlies against Cardiff, Birmingham city and Newport county . we have a socialist chairman.....Truro city could do with the same. It's time to reclaim the workers' game from the fat cats again. Good luck for the rest if the season !

Abramovic remains in the public eye to diminish the chances of his being murdered by Putin and the other authoritarian capitalist scum who have taken over Russia. As a matter of fact I agree with you absolutely, GoldenEye. The fat cats if the premiership clubs....all of them...are killing grassroots football. I was achelsea fan when they weren't far off the third division and retain a fondness for the likes of droy, chopper Harris and even deadly Doug rougvie.

I saw Ron at The Falmouth clubhouse a while back and one story he told was when he almost marked amnd talked Jimmy Greaves out of the game in a Spurs v Chelsea clash.

Chopper said it was late in the game and he had Jimmy in his pocket and being close marked for a free kick Jimmy looked up to Ron and said do you think it will rain today Ron? -as you do Chopper looked up and Greavsie turned and scored.
