I just wanted to say well done to Mullion today. Despite the difficulties at the beginning of the season, they turned up to Dracena this morning with just 9 men to play a good footballing side in Tremough.

They got hammered 21-1 but I feel that is completely irrelevant. Even with nine men, they surely knew that they were going to face defeat, but still travelled almost 50 miles (round trip) to play the game. The scoreline shouldn't matter to them. They could have easily conceded the game but instead they just got on with it.

Totally agree. Not an ideal situation and pretty sure a club like Tremough would rather play against 11 but at least it wasn't an awarded win and fine. I know a few people are unsure about the new format of the Combined League but what it will do is give teams like Mullion an opportunity to compete for a trophy after Xmas.
