Transfer windows - what's the point?

Recommended Posts

Can anybody explain the point of the transfer windows? How is it this system better than the previous one which worked great, whereby players could be transferred up to late March? How many managers will today (Wednesday) be rushed into paying ludicrous fees for average players, just to boost squad numbers? I may be missing something obvious, but I'm afraid I just don't get it.

It's hype...and hype generates interest.

At the clubhouse tonight they were all around the TV watching it all unfold.

That's what the television people want....and they control football.

Look at the Man city vs Man U game....mid-day that's no good to people who play the game, they're travelling then.

So your local football clubs will lose out to the TV football again - crazy.

5:30 kick off - full clubhouse.

Come. On its only a bit of fun older ,  can't believe you  would be so worried that the deadline day could stop anyone watching a local game of football , lol  we all know the real reason MONEY. And as older stated hype Has SKY written all over it again ,. It can't last for ever the bubble will burst  and only the fittest  and richest will survive ,

5.30 kick off was probably a no-no from Greater Manchester Police!

Every one of them would pinch their grannies eyes if she wasn't looking.
