Pete Foxwell 1 Posted May 15, 2016 Report Share Posted May 15, 2016 Manchester United's European Cup winning goalkeeping legend, Alex Stepney, will be at Perranporth Golf Club on the evening of Friday 24 June for what will be a Sportsman's Charity Fund raising evening (7:30pm start with a smart, casual dress code). The evening will consist of a two-course carvery meal, after which Alex will talk about his days as the Man Utd keeper in the 60's and 70's followed by a questions and answers session and a talk about the current state of the game. There will be a variety of fund raising activities throughout the evening, a raffle and an auction. All proceeds will go to the Perranporth Golf Club Captain's charity which is supporting local cancer charities. The ticket price is £30.00. Table arrangements will be tables of 10.
