Bumdingo
Packhorse 1 Holmans 1, we had a bare (12) and missing key (x10) players but took the lead on 15 minutes direct from a Cameron Hague corner. On the back foot for most of the half with plenty of bitching worthy of players half our age, correction a quarter of our age. Away side equalised with well timed run and lob just before half time. Massive argument at half time (forgotten over beers in bar after) about our desire, spent most of second half defending but held on for a point. Holmans player brought down inside/outside box but free kick awarded. Certain red but not one Holmans player asked for it. Where would you get that apart from Vets league? Holmans players turned up late, went to Par track instead of Blaise Park, would have claimed points as we kicked off without them but as they went 3-0 up without actually being there restarted game from scratch. Thanks Rappo & Liam Hearn for coming along to support, team is not just the guys on the pitch so appreciated. Say it every time but Holmans great players and bunch of lads, season almost over but wish them all the best.
RAPPO
Haha good report as usual Dave. Sorry only saw the last 20 minutes mate, Mrs made me get some fresh air after being couped up all week spreading my germs indoors!! Saw Shaun hit the bar 3 times for Holmans and like you said a straight red for Bater if it wasn't vets footie. Lovely day for it, hate watching!! Good point for us from what I saw of it mate. ?
