Guest
SF, do you mean Carbis Bay Holiday Camp on that sloping field? St Ives Town have been at The Saltings I think since 1983. St Ives Dodgems played at Splattenridden before disbanding and becoming St Ives Town Reserves - their dreams of Senior football gone forever. George Anderson their "ex Coventry link" went on to manage Ludgvan and take them to the Cornwall Senior Cup semi final in 1985 but I digress. The point of this is for some of the older forum users to relive memories and those who were too young to see what football locally was like in the last century. And also to remind Dave Deacon that Cornish Soccer has been going for 23 years (ish!)
Soccer Follower
No WT,the pitch was actually in Halsetown further up the side road past where Halsetown FC used to play.
Guest
I think I know where you mean. Someone mentioned that a few years ago but I can't remember who. Would that have been 1996/97 or before 1983?
