ECPL
Just watched Salford level seven knock out a pro Division Two side on TV. In truth you would not have thought Salford were the non league club. Great for non league football.
Mangle
Agreed. Thought the ref did well too. Good game of football that you do not see in the PL these days.
midlandlilywhite
Really enjoyed the match and the documentaries .Yes the ref did well Salford City are a credit to non league football apart from the silly idiot who threw his tea over a Notts County player near the touchline
ECPL
Agree with above although unfortunate for Salford player to be cautioned for a great tackle. I think the spectator's reaction for having the ball smashed at him was a reaction I think most people would have reacted the same. Pity, but these things happen it was the match I remember. Notts county looked like the non league team, they have no excuses. And I agree the referee was terrific. Unfortunately when the powers to be get together they will point out to him he should have cautioned, this player or that player. I hope not but we know how daft the FA can be.
