Special One.

Recommended Posts

This was always in the cards as his arrogance got the better of him - thinking as he was the special one and that whatever he did he was going to be proved right.    And now he has to face a private prosecution from the clubs former doctor who was treated disgracefully not just by Jose and Chelsea but also the FA.  Hope she wins.

Maureen is very good at deflecting  his teams problems  , REFS fault everyone against his club ,  medical staff blah blah  trouble is he was the media's darling  and he enjoyed the adulation  but now he acts like a spoiled brat  the problem stops at his door nobody's else can't see Roman putting up with this for much longer

Thing is, they should not sack him. He will turn things around. Or rather, his team will start winning again. I dislike the bloke a lot, and I am taking great satisfaction in the present situation. My hope is that he keeps the job, and gets them into 5th, outside the CL places. That would hurt him a lot.

  • 4 weeks later...

Specialist in losing  , could not happen to a better chap , even Fergie says back him  , at least he has kept his sense of humour in his old age , the rest of the premiership  are so pleased  he is propping them up    , will cost Roman a small fortune to put this right .

Well that bet of £1,is looking even better.

Lets pray to god,Chelsea dont sack the "Special One".

Think that is key to me winning a few pennies.

Please,please,please dont sack Jose.

I could be in the the money.

what were your odds  and what was the bet?

Bottom three,Xmas Day.

Did'nt get Baldy's 500-1.But a nice £1 at 300-1.

Now older very polite from yourself  , must be  Xmas , hope he stays  as his face is a picture at the moment  when interviewed by the media looks like he swallowed  a lemon , the media darling  must be a conspiracy by prem league clubs to try harder against his team .

Specialist in failure ha ha ha. Now he becomes the voyeur watching the prem league , sorry  sss about your bet but he had to go  where have all the plastic fans gone?  Funny isn't it that the only fans posting on this part of the forum are Gunners and spuds fans ?   I suppose the media will be all over this story like a rash  their darling Maureen  gone  ,  at least us non Chelski fans won't have to listen to his boring post match interviews  good riddance to him .

As a neutral the 2 Manchester  clubs must think it's xmas, the Dave jenks of the premier league available for next to nothing, let down by his players (did you not see hazards "injury" vs Leicester).Chelsea have lost their best players and can,t be as consistent as the previous lot.Its going to be cloughie all over again

Unfortunately it is the end of the road for the special one. Am I right in saying when Porto played Man U it was such a one sided game in Uniteds favour yet Porto won. That was the start of his career in the game. From then on his luck has been in, he has gone to clubs with superb players, wins the trophies and then cannot handle it any more and goes. Just like on his return to Chelsea. Unfortunately for him he has been found out.

I like everyone on here have never met Jose and we all have our own ideas and views about the man, but let us take this in context. Jose took over a very good Chelsea outfit who walked away with the league title, unfortunately it was then that his ego and arrogance took over. As the special one he must have actually believed the hype about him. He decided to greatly reduce pre-season. Mistake number one. He then believes that the team that won the league will go on and do it again. Mistake number two. He then starts to blame everyone but himself by using his own arrogance to say there was no problem, but he then throws his toys out of the bath by getting rid of the club doctor saying that she knew nothing about football. Unfortunately what he did not seem to grasp was that it was not the medical staff who rushed onto the pitch it was the referee who motioned for them to come on. Mistake number three.

Next we here of rumblings within the squad, the very squad that won him the league just a few months before. Next he starts to critizise players in public. Anyone who has ever managed a team at any level let alone at the top that this is a huge NO, NO. The we here him saying that the players betrayed him. Big mistake number four. Unfortunately the special one has been found out. He can take over good sides and take them to titles, but very quickly he starts to fail. This has happened at every club he has been at. So in a nutshell what does it tell us about 'the special one'. Simply that he has been found out. Yes you can blame players who are paid hundreds of thousands of pounds a week for not performing but unfortunately if you lose the respect of the dressing room you are on a loser.

But hey ho, this guy wont worry, he is going to walk away with millions until he gets another top job and does exactly the same thing. If I was a chairman of a major club I would not go near him with a barge pole.

As someone who is his 46th season of watching Chelsea, I have to say how disappointed I am with this decision. Whilst basically agreeing with most of what ECPL has written above, the man has become a legend. As a coach/tactician he has been unrivalled. I think his name will be chanted all through the game on Saturday. I never expected him to return to the Bridge but when he did, I thought everything was in place to implement the 10-year plan to take the club forward to be one of the worlds best clubs. The rest of the season will be a non-event unless new players are added and is that wise if a temporary is appointed. I had already decided to stop going when/if the ground is demolished, supposedly June 2017. That may well be brought forward (my not going). We owe a big debt to Roman for rescuing the club and who am I to criticise? But we owe an ever bigger debt to Jose for turning those dreams into reality. Thanks JM, really enjoyed the ride.

It's tough to be thrown off the bridge with £10 million in gold bars tied to your feet. I bet the old reprobate will still manage to swim though, probably all the way to Manchester!

yes quite right big pay off  again  cant feel sorry for him he will jump into another club soon ,  life is strange we all are football fans yet the money paid for under achievement  is immoral , compare that to 450 miners being laid off yesterday  with basic redundancy  the world has gone mad
