ECPL
Having watched the Argyle v Carlisle match highlights on TV a number of times I was wondering what on earth made the referee caution Argyle keeper McCormick. It was in the dying seconds and Carlisle scored. The game was already over as a contest. Luke McCormick was so disgusted at his team giving away the goal he hoofed the ball up the park in disgust only to see the referee waving the yellow card at him for what I assume was for kicking the ball away. Can anyone answer what got in to the referees mind to caution. The game was over, there was no intent at any form of dissent so why the yellow card. I don't get it. Seems like a lack of common sense.
