Damo No 2
The Crown Inn have always done some cracking after match food whenever i've played against Crowntown or St. I'ves Mariners. Went there with Four Lanes once and we had pasties, sandwiches, pizza slices, chips, the works. Ideal!
Phil
Yes your right Damo, played St Ives Mariners in the Arthur Pearce Cup last year. We went back to the Crown Inn on the camborne to helston back road, who put on a full on buffet, Well done to the Landlord :clapper:
oldasitgets
Crown Inn were always fine hosts for Mariners, Star and Crowntown. Now, unfortunately, the pub does't open on a Sunday morning so Crowntown and Mariners have switched to the Duke of Leeds at Leedstown. The Landlord there has picked up the baton and is doing well. Mariners still lay on a fine spread at the Crown Inn.
Coopsie
Pendeen have always put on a fair amount of food after the game and at the end of last season I played against Robartes and at the pub they went back to there was plenty of pizza, chips, sausages for everybody. Even St Buryan have been pretty good in the past.
