Goldeneye
Can everyone please start searching for Jack Wilshere's brain as he appears to have lost it. If he doesn't find it soon he will follow the same path as George Best and Gazza!
Soccer Follower
Symptomatic of the world we now live in,unfortunately.

TheolderIgetthebetterIwas
Obviously an idiot - he plays for what's their name.
Guest
Completely agree with Soccer Follower, a good player when he plays but it's the world we live in nowadays. Raheem Sterling, good player who obviously thinks he's better than he is and holding Liverpool to ransom. "It's not about the money". Really? Of course it is. Greedy little....... stevieb
Jack needs to realise he is a professional football player and not a Sunday morning pub player. .he was just trying to get the fans onside but probably in a sober moment he will realise this is not the way forward . he has had another injury jinxed season so perhaps now he needs to knuckle down and not let his talent go to waste. stevieb
At least today there were glimpses of what Jack can do . a starting point hopefully so he can become the player we hope not another wasted talent
MOUNTAINEER
At least today there were glimpses of what Jack can do . a starting point hopefully so he can become the player we hope not another wasted talent Anyone playing in Wilshere's position on Sunday should shine, Martin O'Neill's game plan was similar to what he has used for years he surrenders the midfield leaving space whilst packing the defence, it is a boring system that relies on the break to get a satisfactory result but attacking teams advance to the edge of the Irish penalty area and jam packed end up back on the centre circle starting all over again, not exciting but gets it's fair share of the better results. stevieb
Two cracking strikes from Jack. This is what he should be remembered for not the silly things he gets involved with . but after the second goal he dived into a tackle .sometimes he gets reckless .he needs to mature on the pitch
MOUNTAINEER
I was in Ljubljana on Sunday and enjoyed his first England goals, with Roy Hodgson pulling his strings he appears to be a different player, Rooney needs someone up front with him unfortunately despite all the flash, Sterling isn't that player, at times our team layout is puzzling with Rooney alone amongst seven Slovenian players - An exciting day out.
