thejman Posted June 3, 2013 Report Share Posted June 3, 2013 Troon AFC will be hosting their annual 5 A Side Comp and Funday on Sun 21st July at Grouter Park, the home of Troon AFC (TR14 9HT). After x2 years the competition and day is one of the best around, with 14 teams competing in the first year and 16 last year it is fast becoming the tournament to be in, and win! The day will consist of the 5 A Side Tournament which will start at 11:00 (team managers brief at 10:30 in the clubhouse), and run throughout the day on a league (s) basis, into the knockout rounds etc etc, also going on from 11:00 will be the usual fun and games such as Bucking Bronco’s, Bouncy Castles, Sumo Wrestling, Football Skill Competitions, and much more for the whole family to enjoy. Along with this there will be hot food available throughout the day, and a fully licensed bar which will be open until late! There will also be live music and karaoke in the evening in the clubhouse so please come along and have a cracking night!!!!!! Entry fee’s are £15 per team, except the reigning champions, Barry Biggins, who have won the tournament x2 years on the bounce, which gives them free entry, can anyone beat them??!! Cheques are to made payable to Troon AFC, and sent to 26 East Charles Street, Camborne, Cornwall, TR14 8JF, with the team name and manager’s name on the back of the cheque, entries are to be in by July 14th to allow time for the usual glamorous programme and fixtures etc!
