Penzance Management Team

John Mead

Recommended Posts

Penzance AFC would like to recruit an enthusiastic and ambitious person to join the Management Team at Penlee Park. We are particularly looking for someone who has good player contacts in the Penwith area and who feels they have the necessary qualities to help revive the fortunes of our Reserve Team - with the ultimate aim of returning to membership of the Combination League in the not too distant future.

Anyone interested in further discussion or information should ‘phone John Mead (07952 312 906). All calls will be confidential.

Interested?

Trouble is Bundi only up the road at Pendeen their Combination league side 2 leagues higher are struggling to fill their vacant managers position. Good commmited people seem to be few and far between at the moment. Good luck to Penzance in their quest I'm sure someone will eventually grasp the challenge to get them back up the league structure

There is a general lack of interest in all football at this time. The season had just finished and a week or so later people are starting pre-season training, arranging friendlies etc. There is no break from it, no sooner its over and its starting again. Football on the tv every night, everyday, you can watch football every minute of the bloody day now, no mystery to it any more.

World cups, European cups, confederation cups, champions football its endless. Its called overkill, and its killing it.

A real lack of interest and commitment from a generation of youngsters is taking its toll with positions not being filled. Why would anyone want to put themselves out for people to consistently let you down, be a manager!!!!!! you're having a laugh, bust your balls for a bunch of ungrateful, undeserving kids with little or no comprehension of what being reliable is.

They have it all, cars, phones, holidays the list is endless, but they actually won't have anything when the clubs fold, but that won't bother them either.

We had nothing as such, they have everything, but really they have bugger all. We had the best of it - and its gone.
