Recommended Posts

Last year Chloe Edwards, an 8 year old Falmouth girl, lost her battle against cancer. The school that she attended are raising money for a playground feature to celebrate her short life. Falmouth Town AFC are proud to have been asked to support this worthy cause by way of a charity match V HMS Severn/dads and friends of St Francis School. The Select Falmouth Town side will be announced shortly. 1st June 2.30 k.o. Union Corner.

Thank you to Falmouth School for the use of the pitch, John Pollard ( Fal Town Youth ) for posts and nets, Dawn Aberdeen(CCFA) for dispensation on allowing the game to be played after 31st May and to the officials for volunteering their services.

Further details will be made in due course but any donations of raffle prizes would be gratefully accepted ( PM me or ring the club 01326 375156. of course it would be amazing to see as many people there as possible.

Suzie.

Can I say a huge thanks to everyone who contributed to yesterdays Charity match!! Particularly the charity committee who's energy and enthusiasm is truly inspirational, The players, managers and Kevin Wilkinson for making the game happen! It was a well contested game which saw Falmouth select win 7 3. Robbie Stevens incidentally had a great goal and looked sharp out on the left! Thanks too to Ethan Fern for doing the half time penalty shootout for the kids.

We raised an impressive £570 for the charity !!! Hooray !!!
