Even first half, Torpoint shaded second. First goal Avis-Riordan ran straight at the defence who backed off before he fired low into the corner of the net from about 22 yards. Second goal substitute Miles Evans picked the ball up on the left, turned inside his defender before he too let fly from 18 yards into the opposite corner of net.

Both sides showed plenty of endevour. Torpoint top of the league.
