Helston 1sts 2 Mousehole 1

Helston 3rds 1 Mawgan 5

Both teams depleted, just about managing to scratch together a side. Mawgan benefitted from 3 goals where the term 'soft goals' is a massive understatement. Mawgan looking good for this year, even better when all your players return, good luck Mac!

Chacewater 0 Falmouth Combo 7 h/t 0-2

Fairly even first half with Chacewater creating some chances and looking strong down the flanks.Superb shot from wide on the left by Luke Wort gave the visitors a flattering lead(at that time) on the half hour and it was his skill, movement and link up play with Steve Proctor which was a major difference.Proctor scored the second, latching onto a through ball.

Falmouth went further ahead on the hour when some of the home players paid a price for anticipating the award of a free-kick which was not given and Luke Appleton rolled the ball in from the edge of the area.Fitness told in the later stages of the second half with Falmouth well in control as Chacewater wilted in the heat and further goals came from Proctor(3) and central defender Dave Rawlings.

A decent workout for both teams in the very warm conditions and well refereed by Mike Carter.

Good luck to Gary,Shaun and Falmouth in the forthcoming season.
