B Manning
We as referee`s have has a photo ID for at least 4 seasons now, it tells you our level and our whether we are registered.
le boss
I think refs will have to play some part in the ID scheme because who else will be there as a neutral on match days to act as arbitration. It will be difficult to prove any breaking of the rules days or weeks down the line
Guest BenTheYeti
It does say in the provisional rules though, that if a player is found to have broken the rules regarding ID cards, that both clubs will be fined.. so if I was the manager of a team, and I had my doubts about a player, I'd certainly want it clarified before the match as to avoid my team being fined for the other team (effectively) cheating!
