Arlen
Porthleven 3 v Falmouth Town 0 Could of (and should of been 7 or 8) Early days for both teams, but Port looking very fit and sharp. A good comprehensive win

hammers
have to agree arleen , As I saw the Match Falmouth had four main first team players out, but at the end of the day Porthleven were by far the better side they outplayed Falmouth in all departments, they are far to good to be in the League that they are in, good young strong fast, & a big side, Ok maybe it is a good thing for Town to come up against a side like Porthleven, & as you say early days yet, it does prove one thing don't anybody take other lower teams as pushovers, Hammers, :c:

Paul
Just because some teams have like Newquay, Wadebridge, Port didnt get promoted to the premier league dosnt mean theyve become bad sides over night. They remain at the level the were at. So any side in the top division drawing a side in the east or west shouldnt think its a walk over else theyll be out for sure. the big number9
goals from howlett, westgarth and rogers by the way, just been speaking to mark hollands who says port are very fit and will match anyone on a big pitch, he says they ran falmouth off the park! Guest Postie Pidge
Falmouth have played three games so far, but only turned up for two. Porthleven played well tonight and I would think they could be championship material
Quiet Man
I was told that it was Matt Cusack and not Matt Godfree

Guest Cornishdave1980
Arlens original post said this game could have had 7-8 goals for Port, thats gives me the impression it was very one sided, was this the case? or were the Port strikers just waistful? Guest Postie Pidge
Porthleven created more chances than Falmouth, and both keepers made good saves as well.
