kevin richards Posted September 21, 2011 Report Share Posted September 21, 2011 I can confirm that i have stepped down as Porthleven manager. Nothing to do with results as anyone who has watched in our previous 3 or 4 games would admit that we we could & should of won them all ! My heart was telling me to finish at the end of last season but i was persuaded to carry on by a number of people at the club. However, i have reached a point where i am not enjoying my football, so its time for a break.A young family coupled with the dreaded shift work means more time needed at home. I really hope i can recharge the batteries & return to the game but only time will tell. Im sure i will see you all around somtime. Thank you for your kind comments & good luck to whoever takes over at Porthleven & to the players & staff who have been great fun to work with. There hasn't been many more loyal people to Porthleven than Kevin over the years he is a top bloke a true gent and great manager.
