Jez Hocking
St Agnes 'A' 2 - 3 Downderry Rovers Aggie took the lead after 5 minutes through Martin Thurlow but were pegged back mid way through the first half. Downderry took the lead with a penalty early in the second half but a rasping shot on the angle from Jon Allard levelled things. With a draw looming (which I would say would have been a fair result on the day), Downderry broke away with 5 mintues remaining and snatched a winner. Well played to both sides, not so well played the allocated ref who never showed up despite confirming pre match.....! Thanks to Alan Moore who stepped in. tricky dicky 35
I believe that Perranporth have asked for the points from Western Inn A game. How can they not field a team? If they haven''t got enough players registered, why not? They have enough experience in local football and their manager is chairman of the league!! They are making a joke of the whole of veterans football.

Mandy K Aggiemaid
St Agnes Bolster Veterans are delighted to welcome their new manager Steve (dicaniojames) James! Following the departure of last season's manager Greg Moulds (who we wish luck in his move to Brighton!) we have struggled to be organized without a manager at the helm! We are delighted to welcome Steve on board - and we apologize to the League and a couple of the teams that our lack of manager has caused a bit of chaos to! Steve's first match in charge sees The Bolster Veterans face the St Agnes A Vets at home on Sunday 23rd 11am - we wish him luck in this home derby! Anyone interested in joining the Bolster Veterans is welcome to contact Steve James on 07969 928287 for more details or check out the St Agnes AFC Website for details of other club teams and events www.stagnes-saints.co.uk
