Guess its good news for the players that have signed...............they get to start and play footy.

Instead of getting splinters like some others.

New faces and some old have already signed up. More on the way.

Those that have trained are working hard and enjoying it.

Still nearly 6 weeks to go. The usual pre-season merry go round of players continues :)

Anyone would think that the first league game was Saturday. There are still weeks to go yet and I am sure that all the managers are talking to new players and if players are moving up to the combo team, then other players might move down. If some players would prefer to move down a league then that up to them, if they are afraid to battle against players that are as good or better than them.

Its most amusing why so many are concerned about Penryn 4ths.

Surely they should be focused on their own club?

We have players, train, have friendlys booked up and confirmed another today.

Looking forward to the season ahead. Should be interesting following the league merger

Friendly result : Constantine 2nds 0 Penryn 4ths 3

A great game of footy on a fine summers evening.

A totally new look Penryn team played fast, passing footy but perhaps most importantly enjoyed themselves!

Penryn goals from Luke Durkin, Barby and Adam Philpott.

Thanks very much to Rob at Tine for hosting who must be congratulated on having such a good squad.

Dont think the ref had to have a serious word to either teams.

Best of Luck to 'Tine' for their season ahead

Friendly result - Lizard 2 Penryn 4ths 2

Penryn continued their good pre-season with a hard earned draw away at Lizard.

A very strong 1sts / 2nds mixed Lizard went 2 up through a penalty and fine slide rule move.

Sideshow Bob (sorry dont know real name!) had an excellent half and is a real handful in the middle.

2nds half Penryn found their feet a bit more and pulled it square through Quaid and Bisto.

Good result for Penryn with a few players still unavailable.

Cheers to Lizard for the game, think both their teams shall do well in their respected leagues.

Mike shouldn't that say penryn 3rds as all the players will be moving up, and the 4ths will fold, you have done well to get a side and you should manage the thirds as it's your side not nicks. Penryn thirds start in 2 weeks time and as of yet they have played no friendlies, isn't anyone from Penryn getting worried

We (Storm FC) werecontacted by our former secretary the other day saying that one of the Penryn sides were interested in playing us in a friendly. He lost the number though, and we would like to play. Could someone from Penryn get in touch with our manager Adam Mitchell to arrange if you would still like a game.

Agree with dave there, if the 4ths are playing friendlies that could surely mean there is a 4th and 3rd team at penryn, i hope there is a 4th team, would be a good end to the year beating penryn on new years eve!

Who you playing for this season t&j? Havent seen you at athletic training or at any games

Nick Young is manager of the 3rds this year. Think the thirds are hoping that a lot of players drop down from the combo team as I have been told that they dont have many players at the moment. Mike has brought players in for the fourths that do not really want to play for the thirds but they might have to unless the thirds find some new players soon. If they are short of players it is better to be honest and ask for players on here, rather than just hoping that it turns at ok. I think Mike knows that if the 3rds and 4ths had a game on the same day this weekend they would struggle to field two sides.
