  1. Biscovey 0 - 4 GSM GSM got off to a great start Sam Hadfield with a nice time finish from a through pass from Ben Ringrose inside the first few minutes. A second goal came from a nice ball in to the back post from Riley yelland for Sam Bullen to finish. HT. Once again GSM scored early in the 2nd half with Keegan Lloyd pouncing on some slow defensive work. The final goal was a good header from 12yards out from a corner once again from Keegan Lloyd. Biscovey will be disappointed not to have troubled the GSM keeper more. A GSM deserved and much needed victory and although some unusual refereeing decisions, it was refereed fairly.
  2. Lostwithiel 6-4 GSM tell a story short GSM decided they wouldn't bother today, or so it seemed. Credit Lostwithiel, they were gifted 5 chances plus a pen and took them. But gifts they were. balls over the top and it was as easy as that, they weren't being dealt with. Effectively game over at HT at 4-1, so the final score with the away teams defending was slightly flattering. Home gk pulled off a couple very good saves too. Off the back of 2 good results GSM will want to forget this day in a hurry and take away lots of lessons. Refereed to an average acceptable standard. A GSM MotM a difficult one today, no one painted themselves well, close one between Keegan Lloyd with 2 goals and Ben Ringrose working hard in the middle.
  3. St Mawgan 3-3 GSM On the whole a close game, with both teams content to let the other keep the ball at the back and work hard if they wanted to get the ball forward. Gsm went 1 up with a well taken goal from Rory Jarvis following a bit of neat play. St Mawgan replied with a header from a cross from the right, HT. The 2nd half was a bit more open then the first. St Mawgan eventually scoring following a corner through a couple players and between the gks legs. A bit of neat play in the box resulted in a penalty being awarded for a handball from the sliding defender, pen tucked away by Keegan Lloyd. GSM then went ahead following a corner that almost went straight in and sam Bullen was there to tap in from a couple yards. GSM were sure the result was in the bag until a cross came from outside the box, slight deflection took it goalward and a mistake the gk won't want reminding about resulted in the points being shared. Ben Ringrose had a good game in the centre today, Man of the match
  4. Was a tight game, but the deserved winners on the day came out on top
  5. Completely agree. Wasn't even at this game and already think less of penwith for this sort if post.
