  1. Probus 4-1 Wendron. Div 2. 1st half ended 1-1. When in truth Wendron should have a second from the spot, but missed the retake. 2nd half and a change from Probus gave us more movement up top and a better battle in the middle. Took the lead from a penalty, before Connor Rhodes was slipped in around the back to finish his hat trick. A 4th came from the penalty spot from Justin Trebilcock. Overall a well battled game by 2 top of the table fighting sides. And a scoreline that probably flattered Probus. Hopefully enough to secure 2nd place and a 3rd successive promotion for Probus.
  2. Probus 3 - 1 falmouth. Div 2. Probus took the lead after about 10mins, Probus pushing high and Sam Hadfield pounced on a poor back pass. He should have grabbed himself a 2nd 10mins later, good save, but not a great finish. 2nd half, the sun hard started to take it's a toll a bit. I lost count of how many players were sin binned for Falmouth, all within about 5min of one another. Probus capitalised and grabbed another 2 from Mark Sherris and Connor Rhodes. Another 2 sitters were missed before falmouth replied with a well taken free kick. Ultimately the best team won on the day, Probus causing far more headaches in falmouth box then vice versa. Strangely referee'd on the day. Good to see Falmouth boys back in the club after.
  3. As long as he is signed on for them both then according to the rule as it stands he was likely eligible
  4. Think you're struggling to understand this a little here. He missed 2 games for 1st team and 1 for reserves (that equals 3) which meant he was available for the 2nd of 2 games on Saturday. Right or wrong, if you don't make the rules, you just do as you're allowed to do, which was done. Well within league rules. Although i see how people may at first be confused.
  5. And since he wasn't named in the squad for the 1st game it meant he had served the 3 games to then play the second, even if he didn't actually stay on the pitch very long. Probus maintain their season league unbeaten run!
