    Cash for Ladies

Its quite sad that women s football at grass roots level is going the same way as men's football. Money means everything it will come to a sticky end. Let's play for enjoyment not financial reward Its not about the money you pay but the quality you attract. Good coaching can turn average players into good players but not great players that needs ability and dedication

  3. Going around the local grounds it's such a pleasure to see the volunteers enjoying the part they play for their clubs. Some of us may have been lucky to play the game but now have long since retired. Others may not have played but what ever why not give a little back to your local club. Looking forward to another interesting season ahead
  4. I played my first game for Liskeard away to Calstock in 60's they had a good side then
  5. Fascinating i look forward to hearing from people with more knowledge than me about teams that no longer exist
  6. It's interesting, when used properly can give you a real advantage. Means managers have to be very aware tacticaly, and not fall in the trap of giving every sub a few minutes just to keep them happy.Going on for 10 mins and then being pulled off again is not a good idea. Would end up with having players good at heading being brought in for corners then taken off again?
