I'm led to believe that Holmans offered a qualified referee (although he had not registered this year) to take charge of the game, St Just declined.
St Day declined the offer from Mawnan to reverse the fixture...
That's two more games that have been lost [needlessly]. There will be more still, I'm sure.
With the recent news coming from the league, you would think that the club's will do what they can to try and get these games played. The most important thing at this level is ensuring that the players get a game, surely?
    My personal opinion, again.

Just for the record and because it has been mentioned on a number of occasions about the “no response from the League”... I refuse to have anything to do with this!
I was not at the meeting as I am working in the Middle East; the first I heard about it was when I started getting  notifications through on my phone after the post was put on Facebook.
I have made my feelings known to a few members of the committee privately; I have also sent an email to the whole of the committee expressing my disapproval of this decision! I understand why the decision has been made but I am of the opinion we could have sorted something out to avoid all of the cups being canned.
I refuse to have anything to do with a decision which I have absolutely no control or say over. Usually I’m the one that posts on our Facebook page and on here, I won’t be doing that with regards to this decision. That is why you have heard pretty much nothing from the league.
In my opinion, this should have been put to the clubs before a decision was made!
As a player, we all want to be playing in Cup games! You can’t beat a cup run and a cup win!

Let me reiterate that my comments above are purely my own and have absolutely nothing to do with the League,

Absolute jokers. I don't think they've thought this through. Players play for a chance to win things. More teams will fold as a result of this.

Yeah know what you mean Dave! I feel bad for the people who have taken time to give me a report to be honest! Wouldn't mind it getting changed if it was for the better as I'm sure I'm not gramatically perfect, although i did get an A for English many moons ago! ( It was the only one I got along with maths and PE mind!! ) But I think they're worse! Fair play if pushed for space, cut bits out but don't change it!! 🙄

Hayle 3rds v Constantine reserves is a 1pm kick off. Definitely on. We are very  light of numbers arranging an early kick off again and injuries (8 out) but good chance for the young lads to have a run out. Rather that than postpone. Will be Very happy to see them all get plenty of game time tomorrow.  Thanks to Hayle for organising it.

    Penryn  A.F.C.  v  Penwith Exiles;  ko. 2p.m.
With the weather being unsettled, the decision was sensibly made to play the fixture on the 3g at Penryn College.
We would like to thank the college for their help, in this, and they have asked we adhere to their requests, no smoking, etc., in or around the premises.
All are welcome, and the Clubhouse, will be open as usual after the match.

We can't get players to go from Penzance to Plymouth for a match because of other commitments so what chance a European match? I spoke to one lad a couple of years ago who had just got into the Penryn first team but wasn't sure if he'd be playing on the Saturday as they were in Perranporth and that was a bit far!

A bit of credit due to the much maligned Madron then. Given the season they are having would have been easy to stick to a 2:30 kick off and try and avoid the game. Fair play to them and Troon for getting a game on in horrendous conditions.

Teams are well within their rights to postpone games before Saturday during times of inclement weather. All in line with League Rules. The 12pm rule is when there is no appointed referee available.
I'm working closely with the new team at Madron to help them get their administration up to the required standard. They are doing a good job so far but we have to remember that these lads have not run a club before. They are learning, they will make mistakes. But they are trying. The fact that they are now actively communicating with me, asking for advice (when needed) and making an effort is great to see. Once they are settled and swept up on rules and regulations, I am certain that these guys can turn things around at the club.

Where do you start!  The game itself was played in great spirits and was end to end, with some fantastic finishing, in my opinion. It was a roller-coaster of emotions, Perranwell making it 3-3 with roughly 10 or so to go, only for Gavin Boon to make it 4-3, less than 60 seconds later.
The game was strange for me, as I made two substitute appearances. But all of this is irrelevant,  given the events of the 86th minute. Following two players going for the ball in a strong but fair challenge, we heard a crack which we thought was shinpad on shinpad, but unfortunately it wasn't.
And in a very calm almost blasé fashion, young Chris Jones asked our linesman to call an ambulance as he'd broken his leg and to be fair, his diagnosis was spot on!
I take my hat off to the guy as he sat on the pitch and dealt with the incident so calmly.
I ran over to his side of the pitch and the fantastic players and management of both sides were supporting his leg, and once I'd cut his sock and boot off, to assess the injury and check for circulation, the injury was pretty obvious.  We all did our best to stabilise Chris, keep him warm and prevent any further complications, especially with circulation and infection amongst other things.
Before the ambulance arrived, which I must say was fairly swift & they deserve a whole lot of credit, as they've been getting a hammering in the press recently!
As expected, he's off to derriford for surgery and I would like to wish him a speedy recovery.
On another note, I love football as much as the next guy and we all get carried away with our passion, rivalries & desire to win, but today puts it into perspective and everything was put to one side as two teams worked as one, to help a fellow footballer 👏
