  1. Some have said he hasn’t apologised on here- perhaps he doesn’t have an account so has done so another way.
  2. To be fair Simon has posted a best wishes message on his Twitter account!
  3. It’s been like this for years. Where do you expect the extra officials to come from?
  4. Trelawny League - Saturday February 17, 2018

Hope you aren’t thinking of drinking that by the side of the field of play!?
  5. Trelawney League Cups Cancelled?

I think FA rules prevent playing for double points as all games must be played. Hence the idea of reduces games for double headers.
  6. 7. Trelawney League Cups Cancelled?

red cards in game one, can they play in game 2? Not sure Rolling subs? Yes Coin toss at the end of game 1? Yes, it will be a new game. How long for each half time (x2 of them still 15 minutes?)? Reasonable time between game 1 and 2. Ateam sheet produced for each game, to be provided before game 1 or wait until that games completed to see if any injuries occur and then another before game 2 kicks off? Same as league games, before each kick off. Could you sign players on before game 2 that you didn't for game 1? Not sure. Perhaps send an email to league sec/fixture sec for definite confirmation.
  8. Trelawney League Cups Cancelled?

@Sijames a message from the league. After discussions with the Trelawny League I have agreed to help facilitate double headers on a Saturday starting in March. The fixture will be two x 60 minute games and the fee will be £27 (£13.50 from each club) plus 32p per mile. The Trelawny League has asked me to gauge interest so please get back to me if you would like to be considered for these games. So a slight reduction in fee for each game. Does that sound fairer?
  9. Trelawney League Cups Cancelled?

If I did a double header then I certainly wouldn’t. Like you say I’d be there for around the same amount of time. But as referees are entitled to it then others may choose to.
  10. Trelawney League Cups Cancelled?

Did the men in black make the decision regarding the fees? No!
  11. Trelawney League Cups Cancelled?

I won’t be on those games, haven’t made up the rules and don’t necessarily agree with them! I just answered your question!
  12. Trelawney League Cups Cancelled?

Each club pays one match fee each. And then split the mileage!
  13. It might still be that as Snozzle are playing neither of those two in the semi-final! Well done Cornwall FA
  14. @David Bray can you sort this out next year and stop him from moaning?
  15. In what way? How else could they do it?
  16. How were they kept apart!? They were drawn apart as can be seen on the video!
  17. County Cup draw info

Not yet. Assume now they know games they can locate as appropriate between teams.
  18. I'd like to see how as its going to be drawn live!
  19. You also wouldn’t have sued everyone you could if you got injured either though!
  20. Offside Law

And they have been told the total opposite by PGMOL and Dermot Gallagher on Sky. Personally I think Jon Moss had a blank moment and when he realised that Lovren was the one that played it he gave the pen. If the assistant had of said did a Liverpool player play the ball then he would have been able to give his answer much quicker. You’re right but at our level how many games are videoed to prove the officials right and that he deliberately tried to play the ball! This same thing happened in the Euros England v Wales when Kane again profited from a miscued header to be played onside and score.
  21. Offside Law

The law doesn’t state distance. The deliberate pass to the keeper is a different law hence the difference. Either way I believe at grassroots level this is more likely to be given offside.
  22. Offside Law

The in between I am talking about is between the offside law and the deliberate pass to the keeper you alluded to in the original post. But if Kane is not close enough to play the ball when you play it then as it stands he is not offside.
  23. Offside Law

Laws of the Game is right with the law and at the top level (National League and above) where there are cameras at the games then this will always be called ONside. At the lower levels I believe that this would be called as you say OFFside. The wording of deliberate has been used differently and can seem confusing but the scenarios are different. If a player deliberately plays the ball, but miscues it then there will be no deliberate pass to keeper offence but would reset the offside. Why should the other team lose out because the player didn't quite do as they wanted?
  24. Favourites

16 from each went into the countywide draw. I think the level is much closer than previous years with many west sides losing in close games to east teams.
  25. A couple of fags before the game doesn’t count 😂😂😂😂
