Strange isn't it,rather than applaud dobwalls on their win people feel it's it's necessary to have a dig at Bude,wasn't at the game so can't comment on who done what fantastic or not so fantastic but it seems to be a growing trend to dig out a grass roots club regardless of who they're playing or the score,they r run how they r run no different to any other club and if they can attract ex pros or players of similar quality then the opposite team should feel privileged to play against them as it's not often they will get a chance to play such players as river Allen or Gabby Rogers. Well done dobwalls on the result any way

Changing rooms were clean enough mate

Pretty much how the game went bar the last goal and the penalty shout,Ur player had all but dragged our centre half down n our midfielder charged thru him trying to win the ball,if anything it should of been a foul in our favour but the ref seemed to have missed it but caught the 2nd tackle and sent our number 8 off,this happens and we don't have var so can't complain the refs missed it,the last goal was defo an own goal too jack shot damo parried it out and our full back had got across to block/clear the shot and it's cannoned off his foot and gone in so he can't claim that one 😂 We weren't at the races after scoring early on if anything it was a shock to the system as we normally don't score,Reece and Phil had a couple of thunder bolts which were decent strikes tbf,I possibly should of done better at 2-1 where I beat Ur offside trap and skimmed the post with only the keeper to beat n we probably could of had a couple more but for some wayward finishing but we don't get the luck in front of goal so that's why we r where we r in the league,both teams weren't holding back in the tackles and the ref played as much advantages as he could. Good luck in the next round and thanks for coming in for a pint after the game and supporting the club house.

Penzance to Barnstaple is a ridiculous amount of travel time, surely there's other teams closer to his home at that level which will give him game time

Lost 0-7 Beaten by a better team,followed last weeks poor showing with another today, probably the best way to describe it tbh,was speaking to Mr kitto before the game about local lads playing for their village/town n how a couple swpl sides have been in contact or will be in contact with certain players from st teath and can see why they would be,now my advise to the couple young lads that have had these offers would be to stay put and see how things pan out at st teath as management at swpl level is very short lived at certain clubs where success is all but demanded after a few games,so the management who ask the lads to sign may not be there after a month so stick to what u know and trust lads!! Won't bother going into too much detail about today as again we cost ourselves so it saves u a boring read,had a 16 year old ref where the only criticism I'll give him on today's performance would be the lack of communication for what he's given a foul for or against,other than that he done ok, would of been nice if he stuck around after the game to receive payment as well as I looked for him about half hour before contacting our secretary to contact him and sort his fee out as I realised he'd disappeared and I hadn't paid him lol,first time we'd had and I'd be happy to have him again,both linos very fair as well. All the best to st teath until we play again then I hope we turn it around and win lol.

Not entirely sure but there were a few people in the stand and outside side the clubhouse possibly 20 or 30 spectating.

Another game where we literally cut our own throat,silly individual errors cost us today,lack of communication cost us and the ability to also play as a team cost us,it's frustrating to say the least,only thing I will say is a plus point is dobwalls have several decent young players at their club so going forward they will be fine and I'd be happy if a couple want to join our squad,no joke they have some tidy players which will be knocking on the 1sts managers door in a few weeks. Well reffed today was the only other good thing about today for me. I'll add I missed a sitter but I'm a defender not a striker and volleys ain't my speciality. Lost 0-5 Gifted them 2 goals 3 rd was decent the 4 th even better 5 th went in direct from a corner as one of our players decided he knew better than our goalie and centre half n totally ignored their shouts of stay on the back post. We seem to be Jekyll and Hyde ATM one week we play ok another we r shite,still getting good numbers tho so that's a plus point. A late ref cancellation and the threat of a fine/points deduction meant we had to ref ourselves and I ended up reffing the whole game and if I'm being honest I can see why no one wants to do it even my own players were giving me grief,I'll add both linesmen were superb and very fair wasn't sure on attendance as I was pre occupied reffing but Yvonne in the teahut took over £100 so must of been a few down there. Onto next week and see if we can improve on yesterday.
