  1. More important was St.Austell’s 3 nil win down the road at Lantoom Park. Three more wins against Holsworthy at Poltair and two final away wins at St.Dennis and Truro Res and they will be crowned Champions 🏆. The Poltair boys can then join local rivals St.Blazey in the Western League next season 👍😄. Their fate is in there own hands.
  2. Heavy pitch which suited the visitors better. St.Austell not at their dominant best. No complaints the better side on the day took the spoils. Crowd 260.
  3. Thanks Chris Bitter blow to St.Austell's quest for trophies this season .
  4. Wise decision, traveling through Somerset yesterday did notice that the fields in and around the Taunton area was in the main under water .
  5. Thanks Dave. Glad someone knows the result.
  6. I understand that a Cornwall Under 16. team played a Argyle Development X1 at Ivybridge last Thursday evening, the match was scheduled originally for St.Blazey FC Can't find the result anywhere. Anyone who knows any details of the score or the game in general please reply accordingly.
  7. Grim forecast for Wednesday ☔☔☔☔☔🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️💦💦💦💦💦.
  8. Nothing to do with Falmouth Town but the County Youth Under 18's have travelled to both Jersey and Guernsey in the FA County Youth Cup Competitions losing on both occasions. If my memory serves me correctly their facilities were first class . Fights from Exeter were required, glad the FA picked up the transport and hotel expenditure invoices.😀. l
  9. St.Austell v Helston postponed. Can only assume that the match referee was of the opinion that the playing surface was not fit for purpose. Cancelled at around 6.30 / 6.45.
  10. February 10th for the St.Austell v Camelford game should ensure a decent crowd particularly as it's a Saturday and Argyle are away at Sunderland. 😀
  11. AFC St.Austell 6 - 0 Callington Town. Liam Eddy 3, Harvey Ham 2, Tom Guest. Playing surface played remarkably well considering the amount of rain we had this week. Callington had little to offer except honest endeavour. St.Austell took their chances, good to see Liam Eddy getting a much deserved hat trick.
  12. Fitting tribute at Home Park yesterday in memory of Mike Bickle. One minute applause rang out around the ground accompanied by a large b&w photo of the great man on the giant screen. As the current fans sing these days ' Michael Bickle he's one of our own.' RIP.
