One transfer that was submitted by fax was Adam Carter who left Falmouth Town on Friday to return to Torpoint where he scored a hat-trick on Saturday. Some "rumour" here that this transfer was rushed through, not true from a league point of view, all that happened was that Falmouth waived the 7 days notice period as is their right, in the case of non-contract players this is not at all unusual. Indeed I'd expect most of Mondays transfers to proceed only if the parent club waives the notice, if not the approaching club had to have sent the 7 days last Tuesday by recorded delivery at the very latest

Thanks, but I wasn't concerned at all!

I was just trying to make it clear that the list of transfers I posted wasn't exactly absolutely up-to-date, because as we know Adam would only have been transferred on Friday and his name wasn't on the list!

Let's face it, this close to the deadline, the 7 days waiver will have to be applied - especially at the likes of Falmouth, that is if they really want to offload before tomorrow.
