Found out on Monday that all 3 G pitches have to be subjected to an FA test.

This is a national directive from London.

The test was today and we won't know the outcome until next week. We were lead to believe that the results would be known today.

Just for the record, the test costs £1500 and if the pitch passes, it's valid for 3 years.

I hasten to add, this is nothing to do with Cornwall FA, who are up in arms about it all.

Anyway Al, what's going on down Camelford, one minute you're searching for players, the next you're 2 from 2?

Its 2 from 2 cus I'm not there. Great set up but decided it was a bit far to attact players from our area and didn't really know young players from the Camleford area so it will be back to the man in black or whatever colour I can find

Just to clear up the St Stephens v Roche postponement.

The league secretary has commented. 'There is a lot of comment for the reason Roche rang the Ref not St. Stephens Boro. They were given the option to play, but chose not to. I told them to contact the Ref as per Rule 10.F.(iii) as follows. Any Club unable to fulfil a fixture etc. must notify Fixtures Sec, Refs Appointments officer, League Sec, Opposing Club and Match officials. I told Andy to ring Roche and ask them if they wanted to play and chance whether the pitch passed. Roche said they did not want to take the chance. So I told them to ring the ref, I told all others as listed.'

Hope this clears up the matter

Where do I start, Camels took a first half lead before Dominic Richardson levelled for the home team.

1-1 half time.

Lanreath came out for the second half at full throttle, Richardson added 5 to complete a double hat trick and Jay Hussey added 4 of his own which were all great finishes, man of the match Callum McGhee scored probably the pick of the goals.

Good crowd and thanks to the ref and Camelford for a sporting match.

Solid 2 nil win for Bude today against the early league leaders St. Blazey! 2 clean sheets in a row for the first time in a long while too!

Really thought Blazey would have been stronger today who also called on the duties of Lee Ricks! They seem a side who struggle away from their home pitch! Some lively players though, in particular number 8 who wanted the ball all the time! All the best for rest of season at Blazey, a good bunch! Shame the gaffa/physio/coach guy (not really sure what he was) who kicked off at the end for no apparent reason!
