Hayle 0-2 Penryn 0-1 in first 5 mins Sorry Ryan you can't claim the 1st goal shot / pass across goal then put in by a Hayle defender , caught cold again early against our bogey team , lots of the ball after the goal and the young Penryn keeper made two brave saves in the 1st half 0-1 half time , same second half loads of pressure and most of this half Hayle wre in Penryns half , hit the post and with some resolute defending Hayle did not look like scoring , against the run of play a long cross field ball over the defender which was well struck into the corner of the net for a cracking finish 0-2 full time , attendance counted 25 , which several from Penryn , overal not a bad game whith some robust tackles from both side and Tim Reeks let the game flow and played advantage when he could , one of those afternoons where you thought Hayle couldn't buy a goal , Sorry boys won't be there Boxing Day as family commitment ( cooking lunch) but the team is showing promise and there is a team spirit which has been missing at the start of the season , some very good young players stepping up , looking forward to the New Year with some more points on the board and maybe a good cup run , Merry Xmas guys
