Great result for Hayle I got there just before half time when it was1-0 great second half defended well rode our luck a couple of times but then again could have had another couple , great team performance and the youngsters are coming together as a team , and the squad back each other up to many players to mention as they all played well , well done lads a cracking result away from home ,

Well done to Troon on gaining their first points this season.Made the cost of flying Jamie in for the game satisfying!

Ha thanks nige, and Ralph!

This win is no more than Troon and Jody Marles deserve, all the hard work off the pitch people have put in recently sometimes goes a miss especially when the chips are down, it's always nice playing against the 'whipping boys' but never nice being them, so for the players that have stuck by the management I take my hat off to you and yes i'm glad the points have finally come!!

No one is under any illusions that we will now go on and quality for Europe! But we will hopefully pick up a few more points and get back to enjoying the footy again which is what football at this level is all about! Perranwell have the makings of a tidy outfit and will turn things around once things have settled. Nige Nicholls had a fantastic game in the middle today, explained his decisions and had x5 hotdogs after the game!

brilliant performance from everyone today. the boys gave us everything we asked for and more.

hayle are starting to gel a bit now, and that showed today. heroes all over the pitch. must say a big well done to redruth

they have done wonders to the pitch and surround. really looks like a senior club now.

Wendron 4-0 Illogan. Good win for us at home yesterday against an Illogan team that never stopped competing for every ball. Very pleased to keep a clean sheet, massive praise to Kev Toy who we got out of the local football museum to play in goal for us, and as usual he performed with great confidence and assurance. Goals from Brett Andrew, Jason Roberts, Matt Rose, and Captain for the day Chris Madeley is claiming the other! Also nice to give 16 year old Matt Buchan his debut. Always good to see Mark Fenton and good luck to Illogan for the rest of the season.

i'm not sure but i think steve curnow must be older than 51?? and Mr Matthews down Ludgvan?

i watched a cracking game on sat where Hayle got all 3 points and deserved every one of them, redruth seemed to think it was going to be a easy day for them, lack of energy all over the oark cost them, but again credit to hayle and they seem to have turned things around by pulling a team out of the divisions below credit to the committee to doing this they could of easilly let the season get away from them and done nothing about it!

now redruth have lost this game and dropped a few points even though they have games in hand i can only see Wendron winning the title this season, have they applied to go up? along with anyone else? Ludgvan? mullion?

Got to agree with pointers, I did not see the Hayle game, but for me Redruth have looked a bit leggy in games I have seen. Shane Richards, has looked tired in previous games and perhaps his legs have gone, also their midfielder, Carl something, has so much possession, but always wants that extra touch, losing the ball or playing poor balls, leading to opponents gaining the ball. It is only Redruths second season however, so maybe we shouldn't be so critical. Always room for improvement

Thanks for the feedback Winston/pointers. Will take that on board. Yes didn't play the best on Sat but still created just as many chances as we did against st day in the 4-0 win the week before. On another day could have beaten hayle 6 or 7. That's football though and as long as we keep creating chances we will be a challenge for most. Carl's a top player always looking for the ball didn't have his best game Sat like the rest of us but will bounce back to be one of league's best midfielders
