stevieb
Goonhqvern 2-0 hayle 2-0. H/t 2 down after 10 mins ' some players missing today but take nothing away from goonhaven they took their chances and second half defended well , hayle after going behind had lots of the ball and passed well but apart from one cracking shot which the keeper saved well from joe Irwin and a couple of catches we did not trouble the keeper , as the game went on it was one of those days when you could not see hayle scoring , a good crowd and Paul Murphy in the middle had a great game . Thanks to goon haven and their supporters for the way they respected the minutes silence for Eric woods Hayles Vice President who sadly passed away yesterday , Eric supported the club in many ways and always was a great believer in the young players getting their chance have spent many hours at football with Eric and he could be great fun , and always had an opinion on all football matters , a great lost to hayle condolences to his wife Pam and his family Steve bailey

noahc
it was my first visit to ludgvan for about 15 years and i have to say they are very friendly and hospitable to the elderly aggie fans. there cant be many clubs who can sell scarves in club colours for just £2. the pitch looked in great condition and it was a good entertaining game in which mike carter got little wrong. there must have been a lot of people hiding inside as a few counts never got above

Rickywood2014
First of all can I say a big thank you to all supporters, players and officials from both Hayle and Goonhavern for the wonderful gesture shown at Saturday's game. It's good to see that, even though he was a pain in the ass at times, Pop was loved by so many of you involved in Cornish Football. Many thanks for all your lovely messages and I will pass on all of your condolences to my nan and the rest of the family. Thanks again

Some people have asked for the details of the funeral so here they are:- The funeral is taking place on 24/11/2014 at 12.00 at Treswithian Downs cemmatorium. My nan has asked for no flowers and can donations be made to McMillan Nurses. If you can't make the funeral we will be at Hayle Football Club afterwards for a few Pasties and a Pint.
