Mike Odgers
Could be Martin -is it King George the V th. or V1 playing Field-either one it would have been there then.I am thinking of the flat field behind the Brea Inn where in recent times it has been used for fetes and Brea day functions. Martin Eddy
pitty. I know that holmans had a rugby team at veor where rosemellon school is now so maybe they did play there before moving to blaythorne
Mike Odgers
Yes there was a football pitch at the Veor ground where I am sure Holman's use to play.In the mid 1960's Camborne School of Mines played there in the Cornwall Combination League but never finished the season and pulled outAs the record was expunged from records perhaps C.T.B. might know the year.I wonder what happened to the ground entrance gates made of metal inscribed with H.S.C. ?
