Captain Marvel
Good evening forum friends i am looking to purchase a pair of shinpads from anyone who is wanting to sell some. New or second hand, i dont really mind. Preferably size 11 but i dont mind sqeezing into a size 10. Hopefully between the price of £10 - £12. However i am always keen to haggle! Dave Deacon
I reckon "theolder" is probably giving you the best advice. As you see on this link they aren't really very expensive which is why there's never much discussion on here about how much money people make on the sale of their shinpads! pointers
I have a pair of 10 and a half which may be suitable...also have ankle protectors and removable shin 'splints' for easy wash. I also have some old gardening magazines which I have used on a few Sunday morning's for the Sunday league, very useful during and for after match reading. Soccer Follower
They never used shin pads in Older's day!
MEX
I find Ginsters/Walls slices are perfect for the job. Fit just right and look quite modern under the socks. The trend seems to be wear as small as possible. Chicken & Mushroom or steak slices available from our shop. Will have to be walls slices but are just as good. Happy to discount if close to sell by date.
Martin McHugh
Chicken is ok but it doesnt leave "mush room" in the sock !!! MQx
