Guest
Someone on here referred to Enys Park as being like playing football in a wind tunnel - today the wind seemed to be blowing in three different directions! St Agnes dominated play and were worth the three points. Troon battled as they always do but Aggie's superiority shone through. The Troon keeper made several fine saves to keep the score down and this made up for the cross-cum-shot that made the score 4-1. Aggie hit the post and bar in one move before the bal went up the other end and n the same minute, Troon hit the post. The visitors also had the ball in the net with a fine finish but the flag was already raised. Referee Paul Murphy had a good game and got the major decisions right and at some points it seemed as if he was coaching the players with his comments like "no foul" before a coming together took place. The new buildings and the stand look good and it would be good to see Aggie in the Peninsula - a lot of teams wouldn't relish a winter visit to Enys Park! Top marks to the club for what they have achieved - if only the peanut huggers weren't in behind, the third team could have had that pitch. The whole club on one site would be perfect! The goals came: 1-0 9m 2-0 37m Half Time 3-0 46m 4-0 54m 4-1 64m 5-1 81m 6-1 86m
