thejman
Troon 0-6 mullion Well my firsts game in over a year...and yes it showed!!! But I won't give a full match report at CTB is doing one for the paper which I'm sure he can just cut and paste on here...? I've mainly come on here to say mullion are probably the best footballing side I have seen in the combo in a very long time, from the GK forward they look to play the ball out, are in no rush to go forward, but when they do they do it with pace and precision, we gave them a couple of soft goals, but they scored a couple of screamers! Troon are going through a tough time at the minute on the pitch, but all clubs will face this at one point or another, Troon will bounce back and now with the incredible youth set up they have with trevenson youth at the club, the future is certainly looking very bright! All the best to mullion not that you need it, and I see Troon have been drawn against you in the league cup, let's hope that game is played before the end of nov, when I'm back in the UK for good, i can't take another 90mins of that so close together!! CTB was at the game so hopefully he will add a report soon, undoubtably highlighting my inability to play at the back...lol ATT 44,
cornishteddyboy
Troon 0-6 Mullion Mullion increase their league lead over the chasing pack to 7 points with this hard won result at bottom side Troon. Superior finishing was the main difference between the sides. Mullion raced into a 3-0 lead in the first half-hour with a brace from Alan Thomas and another from Phil Cattran, but after that seemed to sit back and let Troon come at them. In the second half Mullion still make hard work of holding Troon at bay but increase their lead at regular intervals with Cattran getting his hat-trick and Thomas also getting one to complete his hat-trick as well. Troon get the ball over the line in the 88th minute but neither the lino or ref give it, proving when you are at the bottom luck never runs your way. A few minutes before the end Thomas was sent off for a second bookable offence.
addick1
Great win for Hayle today, after all the recent turmoil, looks like the decisions made have been vindicated. Best of luck to Bella and John and all the Hayle lads.

The ball definitely didn't cross the line unfortunately I was right on it on the pitch, was close bit no cigar, ref for that one right.

stevieb
Well played hayle deserved win ,strange incident sat a player booked for a foul against hayle ref took his name and his name wasn't on the team sheet so he had to leave the field of play , poor Blakey left a bit red faced after that slip up , and a sub had to come on , deserved two goal lead before another strange one when the hayle keeper palmed the ball down rolled it in the area then picked it up again giving away a indirect free kick in the area resulting in Helston scoring from the kick ( laid off to another who stroked the ballin) the Helston young keeper made three good saves in the first half , and Craig Wilcox tormented his opposing player with his pace and skill , second half Helston had lots of the ball but the defence with Kieron Harris at the centre stood firm , reffed well by graham Tippett ,and credit to both sides who were very competitive but not over the top good crowd withh Helston bringing a good following , another three points well done lads and look forward to the senior cup next sat against the boys from akey bay (st,ives)

MJP
Wendron 2-0 St Ives, goals from Luke Wort, and Mikey O'Niell. Good result for us, St Ives made us work hard all game for the win, the score kept down by their defending and some wayward finishing from us. Must mention Sam Mills the ref, I thought that he controlled the game well, even when both sides disagreed with some of the decisions he was prepared to talk to the players and explain his thoughts, in my opinion a good referee for the future.
