  1. I could be wrong - and normally am - however, I believe they tried to make it more friendly for mobile devices and specifically phones
  2. It is hard to understand why anybody would want to break in to the Torpoint Gatehouse as we clearly would not leave anything of value in it. The annoying part is the cost of the vandalism and the work it causes the hardworking volunteers to rectify Clubs work hard to provide the best facilities for the youth and players of the town and a few mindless idiots (for want of a better adjective) cause additional work
  3. See you Boxing Day at The Mill aka the Theatre of Dreams ?
  4. Far too difficult for some teams as you don't want to miss anybody out - Torpoint formed in 1887 - John Bolten - Gaffer Dawe P&D - Leigh Cansfield - Mike Vigus for all he has done - Louie Dearden - Austin Toms's father who won five CSC medals before the First World War - the Stephen's - the Cardew's - Darren Northcott - Tony Cusack - Andy Gammon - the list is long and distinguished and I have missed out some great players like Viv Folley and Pipes for is outstanding performance at Poole - that side today would win most games - forgetting the players that left to play pro like Roy Carter
  5. Torpoint played Millbrook at the Reg Jenkins Ground last year - this year Torpoint CSWPL play Saltash at The Mill - with Edgecombe playing at Millbay Park not sure how many would have left Kernow to travel abroad to England on Boxing Day
  6. Looking forward to it - local derbys always throw the form book out the window - so fingers crossed - thanks to Kernewek Lets and Mr & Mrs Morris for the sponsorship of the match and ball respectively #theshedexpects
  7. If he / she is entitled to free admission they will have a pass issued to them. If not then pay like everybody else. I went to watch Torpoint ECPL play Callington and Andrew Long offered me free admission as Torpoint club president - I paid my money as at the end of the day every penny counts
  8. Today, I was privileged to see the Torpoint supporters that stand in The Reg Redevenshire Stand affectionately reffered to as The Cow Shed financially support my club - they paid money to sponsor the match - they refused free entrance - complimentary drinks and food. They came in the bar after the match and celebrated with port (the Presidents drink of choice) toasts to the good of the club - the average age was sixty plus and most have seen their sons and/or grandsons play for Torpoint - many of those people have played for the club. That is what makes a club and as President I thank them all for what they have done for my club
  9. Dave, the areas in front of both stands are frozen no chance for it to thaw out for 14:30 - also ice on the entrances
  10. At the end of the day it is for the actual club committee / structure to decide where and at what level their teams play at. The work behind the scenes at every club and at every level is unbelievable. I don't know what St Austell can achieve, however, I will reiterate a statement made to me by an ex player, committee member and finally a member of the top table - we are custodians of the club and must pass it on in the same state or better that we received it.
  11. Sad to see Sam Hillson leave my beloved Gold and Black Army. He is a great player with an even better attitude.
  12. On a phone you could probably get away with either the font or italics - the two combined make it difficult as the screen size gets smaller
  13. Callington seem to have a good bunch of loyal players - so not really a surprising decision
  14. Would have thought Ryan is a lot younger than the other players listed and probably has played at least two or three seasons less than the others
