Goonhavern 0 Wendron 10

Att 23

A good weekend for the boys to go on a stag weekend as we did not anticipate gaining 3 points.

Positive note = did not cost us £200 fine and minus three points.

Next week hopefully back to normal service.

Well played Wendron, a different class to most teams we have played this season.

Two strikes for Barney gave Hayle a deserved and comfortable win both in the first half ,a penalty miss for Danny also in the first half ,and a great one handed save from the Culdrose keeper form Craig kept the score down ,Culdrose started brighter and hit the bar in the first few moments from a cross come shot ,apart from the penalty they missed they did not really trouble the evergreen Andy James who covered for Scott in goal today, Barney was deprived of his hatrick after being given offside in the second half , well reffed by Luke and he handled the game well ,a fantastic crowd today for Hayle with I counted at half time 45 ,Hayle took their foot of the gas in the second half and credit to the airmen they kept battling but the defence stood strong with Kieron and Zac leading the lads from the back ,.

Hardly anyone posts on here anymore...

I have to agree the match reports are not being put on like they used to ,wendron,Mullion,,Perranwell,St,Day all used to put on very comprehensive reports ,perhaps people don't have the time ,such a shame ,when you read the Trelawney league thread ( I know more teams) there are some great match reports and banter .

I think he put the link because that is where a lot of results are placed early after matches finish on a Saturday! The lack of reports could be down to the time when the forum was overloading on a Saturday evening, but that seems to have been sorted now.

Not completely sorted but not as bad as they were before!
