Dave Deacon
Firstly I see that Bere Alston and Liskeard have both completed one game more in the Mitoo League table than my records and indeed the games they have actually played. Is it something to do with the VOID game between each other. Is this being played again? See the following - games don't tally, which is correct please? Bere Alston United 18 8 3 6 51 34 +17 27 Liskeard Athletic 18 2 5 10 18 55 -37 11 Also, and regarding Bere Alston again - I had them down as winning 7-1 at Morwenstow on the 10th January. However I see in the league records it was 8-1. I'm therefore a goalscorer short - again, any help appreciated. I've got the scorers down as :- D Simpson 3, Follett, Lowe 2, Pethick If it's easier, just text me on 07759 502408 Thanks
Guest
On the first point. The league took FA advice which advised the game was to be declared VOID. That means the game WILL NOT be replayed. So no change. Seems odd but basically the game is seen as being played, hence the games played but in fact it was not played. I'll leave you to work out that one. On your second point you are correct. The score was 7-1. My mistake. The web site has been amended.
Dave Deacon
That's different! So played on the league table records but no one gets anything from it! Why didn't it go ahead anyway?
Guest
It would appear that nobody was responsible for the referee picking up the ball and walking off yet evryone seems to be responsible. It has certainly baffled me. Must be a first
Guest
Just to add to the above. It would appear that both clubs were fined £125 each, possibly suspended. This was dealt with at county level, both Cornwall & Devon. Basically if both teams were responsible then according to league rules the match had to be declared void and no points awarded. The counties decided on the fine. The referee was taken down the pub and bought a pint for putting money into the respective county coffers (joke).
