AFC ST AUSTELL v ASCOT UTD - SAT 28TH FEBRUARY 3.00pm KO - FA VASE 6TH ROUND

Recommended Posts

I have to say, that as a Falmouth Town supporter, I wish St. Austell the best of luck and that hopefully me and some friends will make the journey by train to see the match. It is just a pity that with such a big match, the various leagues could not have re-arranged fixtures for clubs whose players and supporters wished to see the match. I am sure that if this had been done then the gate could well have approached 1500 to 2000. Anyway, looking forward to the game and hopefully a nice win for the Saints.

Yes I agree that other local clubs were unable to rearrange their fixtures or have an earlier kick off such as 12 noon in order to give more people an opportunity to attend the match. However we should have another big gate and a great atmosphere. I am travelling down on Friday and can't wait to see this match.
I am sure that Phil will have the boys back on track from last weeks disappointing performance at Godolphin. No motivation is needed when you are so close to Wembley. Good luck to Phil and all the lads. See you on Saturday.

Very admirable nemesis and id expect nothing less from you. But you'll find most neutrals like myself at poltair on saturday. Thats the beauty of not nailing any colours to 1 mast so to speak, can pick n choose the best games each weekend or evening to go to! Gud luck snozzell, looking forward to it. Probably go foxhole vs grampound at midday aswell!

Well I believe St Austell will win this game, the draw was the best they could get.
Phill and the lads must be delighted.
Guys you have a great opportunity don't let this chance slip by.
I wish you all the luck in the world and hope you make real history, as I believe that Truros squad at the time could have probably won the Trophy!
Good luck !,,,

I bought my train tickets today from Plymouth so will look to be down there for opening so I can get a standing place asap lol. Will the club be providing plastic cups for spectators who wish to drink their beers outside as the clubhouse will be packed if we have to drink them inside and miss most of the game? No doubt Ill have my match stats book to post on here lol, having a laugh ain't ya.

Will there also be some camera crew there in case spectators can get a DVD copy of the game. This could generate more money from the club on a social basis.

FA competition rules apply, so no alcohol allowed to be consumed in sight of the pitch.

There is strictly no drinking outside full stop, we have got a marquee with a bar as well as the clubhouse!!
