  1. AFC Bodmin 2-1 Lanivet Well deserved win for Bodmin against a much fancied Lanivet side. A tight game throughout but Bodmin had the better chances and should've added to the scoreline but a good win and start to the season regardless.
  2. Pelynt 1-2 AFC Bodmin Bodmin made hard work of the 3 points today in a game we dominated. Pelynt battled hard and found themselves 1-0 up at the break when a shot was deflected into the net off Aron sturdy, giving our keeper no chance. Pelynt went down to 10 men for the 2nd half and continued to work hard, but it was pretty much attack v defence and the equaliser came from Bryn sturdy with a low drive into the bottom corner. The winning goal came with about 10 mins to go when Matt Hooper converted one of Bodmin many chances with a fine strike from 20 yards. Pelynt had a chance to equalise right on full time but the striker headed wide. Well done to pelynt for battling when you went down to 10 men, but the win was the right result for Bodmin. Also agree with Cornishlegend, the young ref done a fine job.
  3. Saltash 1-3 AFC Bodmin Into round 3 with a decent away win at higher league opposition with goals from Corey Stewart, Mike Horne and Paul Dowling.
  4. Gunnislake 1-9 AFC Bodmin Mike Horne x3 Aaron Sturdy x2 Joe Ahearn Corey Stewart Paul Dowling Dan Haggett
  5. Yeah I'm pretty sure Andy is joes uncle. Class little player too! Cheers.
  6. AFC Bodmin 8-1 Delabole Mike Horne x5 Joe Ahearn Joe Barrie Corey Stewart

  10. AFC Bodmin of duchy 1 are looking for home friendlies on the dates listed below. All games would have to be a 6.30 kick off and we do ask that the away team pay for the ref (usually anything between £20-£30) as we'll be paying for the use of facilities. Anyone intrested can message me on here or text 07585115460 (signal is abit dodgy so text is easier!). The dates were looking to fill are as follows : Wednesday 27th July, Wednesday 3rd August, Wednesday 10th August, Wednesday 17th August, Wednesday 24th August and Wednesday 31st August.
  11. Gerrans and st mawes 2-2 AFC Bodmin Bodmin gave up home advantage and took a point from a tough trip to st mawes. Goals for Bodmin from Dexter Reeves and Dan Haggett. Thankyou to GSM for offering to reverse the game and good luck for the rest of the season!
  12. St Newlyn East 0-9 AFC Bodmin Goalscorers for Bodmin - Mike Horne x2, Dexter Reeves x2, Dan Chapman, Corey Stewart and a hat-trick for youngster Josh Bourn on his debut. Well done to st newlyn east, with all the teams that fold due to lack of players/no player commitment etc etc, newlyn continue to play their fixtures despite some heavy defeats. They only had the bare 11 today but all 11 battled hard and worked for each other like a team should. Good luck to them for the rest of season from AFC Bodmin.
