Recommended Posts

St Day hosts their annual 5 a-side competition in honour of Sheldon Mitchell and hopefully another cracking competition is in store.

This year it has been set to be held on the

Sunday 3rd August 2013

Vogue Park Home of St Day AFC.

Teams must be entered and registered by 10am for the draw and like most competitions there will be group stages followed by knockout stages. We will be commencing games at 10:30am.

Refreshments and food will be available at the ground and can we ask all players to wear either trainers or moulded boots unless the weather is wet and therefore normal studs may be worn. Changing and showering facilities will be available on the day for everyone.

Entry is £15 per team and should be either a cheque sent to a Mr. Adrian Walters (Ashcroft, 80 Mount Ambrose, Redruth, TR15 1QR) payable to St Day AFC or email Mark Leah with your teams details.

THIS YEAR THE CLUB IS LOOKING TO HOLD A YOUTH 7 a side TOURNAMENT ON

Saturday 2nd August 2013

Vogue Park Home of St Day AFC.

Initially we are considering U7s, U8s, U9s and U11s age groups (2013/2014 season) with 6 teams per league. The club is asking everyone to spread the word and if you would be interested in entering a team into one of the age groups please email Mark Leah: markl@stdayafc.co.uk and give details of your club, age group and how many teams. Cost would be £20 per team payable to St Day Youth AFC. At this stage we are hoping it will be possibly but it is dependent on the amount of interested per age group.

PLYMOUTH ARGYLE SOCCER SCHOOLS

Just refreshing the topic and giving an update.....

Youth tournament is almost full just looking for a couple of U7s teams to fill the gaps, if this fails we will be running 2 leagues in the U9s age group as this has had massive interest.

Adult tournaments, some regular names associated with St Day AFC are entered but looking for more teams quickly.

I hope everyone is enjoying their football and looking forward to the new season. For all information about our club visit www.stdayafc.co.uk or via Twiiter @stdayafc1 or Facebook.

Cheers

Mark
