PUGWASH
This should be a good game. 2 - 1 Bodmin. But I wont rule out an upset.
100%cornish
I think the G will win 3-1 tonight they just got to stop 40 goal striker Adam Carter and i think Jamie Lowry and Ollie Pinnell are the men to do it . I also think the best goalie around Kevin Millers bones will be aching on a wet and cold night and may struggle and the arthritis may get to those 45 yr old bones . So come on the G . Rocket Ronnie
The best game i've seen for a couple of years. Well done both sets of players for serving up a cracking cup tie in such horrendous conditions.
ciderhead
Fantastic game this evening - both sides played well under atrocious conditions. Godolphin pressed hard in extra time and seemed quicker to the ball especially in the second period which ultimately earned a famous victory. billybear4
Season over for Bodmin , don't think there that worried about the senior cup because it would of clashed with there Easter egg hunt,on Bodmin moor on Easter Monday . Big budgets don't always win u trophys
Phil
What a great game for the neutral, well done to both sets of players and also the Godolphin pitch which held up well in atrocious conditions at times. Both teams created some good chances and the top goal had the post and crossbar rattled at least twice by each team and only 1 or 2 yellow cards all night. Bodmin took the lead from the penalty spot 20 minutes into the 2nd half and looked like they were going to hold on despite a late onslaught from the G. The home side equalised with a great goal in the last minute of normal time. Extra time swung one way then the other and a fair few players were absolutely shattered but continued to play some good football when the legs allowed. Then with only a few minutes left Godolphin scored their 2nd to seal the tie and in my opinion they just about deserved it. Bit chilly tonight but well worth the 4 quid! Ivory Toast
Great win for the G over a very decent Bodmin side. A credit to the SWPL and just wish every game was this thrilling. Good crowd too despite the crap weather....the G march on !
Dave Deacon
Godolphin never made it to a semi, but quarter finals last season when they lost to St Austell, likewise 2010-11 lost to Penzance and 2009-10 lost to Camelford. Bodmin's defeat last night was the first time they have actually lost a Senior Cup tie in 120 minutes since 2008-09 when they lost to Truro City in the Second Round. The have reached the final in the last 5 years, winning all of them until last season when they lost out after penalties to St Austell.
