Milbrook 0-7 Bude Town

The score, really does not reflect performances from both teams.

2 mins, foul by Chris Watmore in box and Billy Hopcroft converted.
19 mins, Will Matthews missed penalty for Millbrook
22 mins, Watmore sent off straight red for last man on edge of box, keeper tipped free kick over
40 mins, foul just inside box and Hopcroft scored his 2nd from the spot.
43, solo effort from Hopcroft for his hat-trick.

3-0 Half time most would agree it should only be 1-0.

46 mins, Hopcroft on target again 4-0
53 mins, Hopcroft penalty turned down for diving yellow card
67 mins, number 9 David Youldon solo effort 5-0
81 mins, Hopcroft scored his 5th made it 6-0
83 mins, Jack Watson rounded keeper to tap in 7-0

seen bude play a few times this year. Wouldn't say they were at their best but never the less could have scored a few more. Some poor finishing and a few good saves from the home keeper kept the score down. But could have been a different game had the visitors goalkeeper not made a brilliant save for the penalty at 1-0!

Mr Cornwall unfortunately I have to agree with the others, apart from the pen save it was pretty much one way traffic.  Lets be honest not even a surprising result if you take into account the reverse fixture (10-1) and some of the other Milbrook results this season ( 10 on two occasions and 16 in one game!)

A little cringey to be honest mate considering Milbrook lost 7-0 at HOME!!!

Yes but give credit to Millbrook who aew developing and has a young side compared to most. I agree finishing chances gets goals and wins games or increases a lead or reduces it but Millbrook themselves could of got 3 or 4 goals which would of made the game a different outlook. It was a good battling game by both though. Billy hopcroft is different class. What would of happened without him considering if was not playing and no penalties? Today though after speaking to Ryan, referees see something and blow to stop the game to award a team by the decision but today maybe the ref blew too early and that slowed the game down but people pay their money and can assess their own opinion and respect what u say

Magnificent result. Well done boys, you are doing Cornwall proud. Into the last 16 only 3 matches from Wembley. Come on lads !!!

To be pedantic, 4 matches from Wembley - the Semi-Finals are 2 legged affairs!

Well done St Austell, comiserations Bodmin.

Yes you're right I stand corrected, three rounds to go !

Mr Cornwall you obviously see the game thro Millbrooks eyes . But lets be fair I was there watching and Bude cut Millbrook open on a number of occasions. Budes keeper apart from a unbelievable penalty save hardly had much to do. Yes Billy Hopcroft is a fantastic player but he cant score the goals without the contribution from the other 10 players on the pitch lets give credit to them as well.I believe Bude have now picked up 15 from the last possible 18 pts

Well done to St Austell! doing cornwall proud.

Any news on Bodmins result?

Bodmin lost 2-0. Hard luck and commiserations.

There was no 'hard luck', commiserations maybe but  Bodmin came up against a brick wall of a defence that will take some cracking.

Phoenix are a very strong team, running away with their Step 5 league, hopefully we can avoid them in the 5th Round draw tomorrow.

Not sure who is tweeting Sticker AFC, but the tweet 'should have been 7-1' is bad form. Ryan made two great one on one stops as well as another good save. With the greatest of respect the score line could have been 8-4, the game was played at a decent tempo and Porthleven contributed to an entertaining afternoon, thought the three officials also did well.
