Few things, Bodmin were nothing but welcoming yesterday definately no dog ban 3 in attendance with owners I presume, tea hut open and run by a young lad who couldn't do enough for you and the same with all the volunteers. The car parking is, what it is, a council decision I'm assuming Bodmin can't do anything about and you only have to pay till 4 so it's not the end of the world. The game was being professionally filmed I'm assuming for there socials and there is generally an air of optimism that has, in my opinion been missing the last few times we visited, pulled pork burgers post match as well π as for on the pitch Simon has had a week maybe two tops, and we were clinical, having said that if they had scored the penalty just before half time it could have been a very awkward afternoon but Ethan saved well and a 20 minute spell right after half time killed the game. Bodmin are on a journey now that we are probably 3 and a half years in to, their bench consisted of 4 really young lads who looked decent when they came on and Bodmin youth have a phenomenal 16's side who if the connections are made like mentioned in Deacs interview will see Bodmin in good stead in the future. So rather than dig them out wish them all the best, Rome wasn't built in a day, still a proper old fashioned loveable football ground and club and I for one and Wendron AFC wish them all the very best π except when we play them at home π -

Nice to finally put a face to the name last night π―% and smokie of course, long way to go but delighted with the 3 points, bit squeaky bum at the end π€¦π» Charlie, Reece and Reevey with the goals and your spot on with the advantage he played for the 2nd, thought he was very good, bit too much injury time for my liking π all the best to Newquay really good side and will be right up there come the end β½ -

Really good to see Ryan Downing put in a great performance yesterday, as last time we saw him he was hobbling off after pulling a hamstring against us for Camelford. Wadebridge are a side full off talent and so many twists and turns yet to happen in what is turning out to be a very exciting season. All the best to Rower his coaching team and his squad for the rest of the season β½π -

I wasn't Babbo, I went to Launceston where we had lovely facilities and a good game where we could of easily been behind at the break but for a good save from Ethan and some wayward shooting from the home side. Few tweaks regarding tempo and tightening up the basics and we took an early lead Billy stone cutting back for Sam young to shoot through a crowd, harsh on Launceston to be fair and worse came as a good opportunity for them turned in to a blistering counter attack and we were 2 up through Charlie Young. This probably knocked the home sides confidence and we added two more from Joe Souch and Reece Carroll. Ethan still had to make two great saves form Launceston's talented number 10 to keep the clean sheet. Good win after a tough week, harsh on Launceston who will start picking up results sooner rather than later, they were well in this game and the scoreline flattered is a bit, but glad of the points, well officiated and we wish Launceston all the best for the rest of the season, unbelievable food after the game π₯° -
I think that that is a very good, young Newquay side who over time and with the right mix of guidance and experience will become a force to be reckoned with, I might be wrong but definitely 4 or 5 under 20 in that squad. A point away at Penzance may not be a bad result as they are a tough nut to crack now with there own blend of youth and experience. Two good sides playing out what appears to be a good game π

Fantastic game over 90mins at liskeard today, potentially could of been a really good 30 minutes but unfortunately a couple of decisions didn't go our way and we fell short. Credit to liskeard, they go through and we wish them all the best in the next round π -

Without getting all gushy, on a personal note I would like to thank saltash for the dignity they showed last night, to Dane for coming in our changing room and congratulating and wishing the best to each and everyone of our squad almost immediately after the whistle, to all involved at sticker for the facilities and hospitality, we stayed late π to both sets of supporters really enjoyed the banter we were getting from saltash supporters during the game and our guys and girls were class just need them to swell a bit before easter Monday to give the f troop a run for their money π and finally to the squad for putting in an unbelievable shift ππ Anyway forget that now callington Saturday β½β½β½β½
