New ground ticked off today as we visited grampound for this cup quarter final,decent facilities and lovely big pitch ideal if you have the ball not so much if your chasing it. Quickfire start saw grampound take the lead sharpy putting a quickly taken free kick in the top corner while I was still building the wall nevermind, domo equalised with a stunning free kick of our own going in off the post and almost immediately he made it two volleying in a delightful cross from Casey Adams. We were moving the ball well Steve ward and papa Harris controlling the middle of the park and dom always a threat up top grampound restricted to some break aways but a tight back four with Pottsy making his vets debut alongside regulars shifty, browner and Greg.

Second half and almost immediately we went 3-1 up domo putting it on a plate for stives to score with a header, grampound enjoyed a spell of pressure forcing one save but we were keeping the ball really well and finding space as they tired, keeper made a couple of worldies particularly from a dom header he touched on to the post however the rebound fell straight back to Pullen and he completed his hat-trick, Casey then put one on a plate for dom's 4th and our 5th, with 5 minutes to go Steve warr got the goal his performance merited finishing delightfully from yet another Casey Adams pass, 6-1 it finished bit harsh on grampound who are a great bunch of lads and we wish them all the best in the league, next match 15th fedruary

Really enjoyable game against a very good Wendron team who played decent football on a difficult playing surface. The game was played in good spirits and Wendron totally deserved their win.
