Dave Deacon
When does a "superstar" become a “legend”? I guess a lot will depend on of course the era that you best enjoyed your footballing memories. And they don't have to be just Senior players. There have been some extremely good Junior players that never played Senior, but would have been perfectly able to do so! I’m interested in hearing who your choices would be so they can be shared. Guest
Interesting that Nigel Martyn is there but not Kevin Miller. I'd agree with most of the names on the list. I think the term legend should only be used when a player retires or reaches extreme veteran stage (Rappo!)
RAPPO
Haha think "crippled" might be the word in my case Willow!!! Some great players and old friends on that list though. Some lovely memories. Totally agree Kev should definitely be on there after the career he has had and still has! (Even though I'm the only player in his career to score 5 past him in a game!!) sorry Kev!! I'll never get fed up telling that one mate!!! :-)
GEACH1
roger burleigh played for penryn in 60s/70s he once told me a story of him running down the wing striding past several players then whipped in a cross only to find nobody in the box so he then ran in and headed in himself. Guest
Brian Bunney? 700 odd games for one club. If not a legend then definitely an unsung hero. Rob Riley - Mr Penryn Athletic.
