Paul
Good win for St Blazey after last weeks defeat at Parkway. Never an easy match against Falmouth. Many there Mike?? St Blazey are at home to Torpoint next Saturday. Good win for Argyle today against Exeter winning 3v0. Stevenage at home on Tuesday. A good chance to get 3 more points on the board. Mike Odgers
I made it about 50/60 PaulNot a lot between the sides and I kept forgetting that Falmouth had 10 men for over a hour.Painter wasn't tested apart from customary saves and I think the Town keeper had only one Worldy save.Very quiet feeling to the game and not a lot of atmosphere although there were also 5 bookings. To me, sorry to say both clubs will be in the bottom half of the league
Paul
The crowds are just awful at the moment. A fixture like St Blazey v Falmouth shouldnt be attracting less than 150. Sign of the times. I am quietly confident St Blazey will finish in the top half this season. The top sides will come from Parkway, St Austell, Saltash and Bodmin. The likes of Withy, Launceston, Ivybridge etc will be around the top. The rest id imagine will be not much in it.
Ian Pethick
FA Cup Parkway 4 (Levi Landricombe , Andrew Neale,Jamie Bass,Oliie Critchlow) Buckland 1 (Gavin Hammon) (HT 1-1) Excellent win for a depleted Parkway side against the previously unbeaten Buckland . Parkway had a couple of scares in the opening 5 minutes when Ben Elphick pulled off a pair of outstanding saves , but a very physical Buckland team didn't produce too much after that and were fortunate to finish with a full eleven on the pitch. A very hardworking Parkway almost went ahead when Levi Landricombe stumbled and scuffed his shot at the keeper from close range, before some dogged work by the non-stop Andrew Neale resulted in a defence splitting pass for Levi to run clear and roll the ball beyond Tom Buckler. It was harsh on Parkway that Buckland got level just before half time when Gavin Hammon scored from close range after his initial point blank header was brilliantly saved by Elphick . The lead was regained though when Jamie Bass scored after his long range daisy cutter went in off the post before some fine work from Levi repaid the favour for Neale to calmly stroke the ball home, a place in the next round was confirmed when a brilliant piece of vision by Paul Heveran resulted in a deft lob over the keeper from Ollie Critchlow. The Villains
How come Witheridge havnt played a game yet?? Madness with others having played 3. Typical swlp organisation ! Parkway & Saltash have only played one! Maybe it's because they were due to play the teams that have been involved in other cup competitions....... Witheridge have played this season, they beat Parkway in the Cup!!! Bit early to be slating SWPL organisation, if you can do any better, offer your services!!
